Casting: Looking for our cast

Casting:

When looking at casting we needed to think about things like quality of acting, as well as the fact that we are going to be using an animal within the scene. It is easier using someone who has a dog as the dog will be more cooperative and comfortable with that person. We had ideas of 2 people we could use:            Doug Quinn and Mike Niland. Mike is our second option for this project. Doug has experience in acting, and would be a good choice to use, and he has a dog so will work well. He has worked in the industry before so wouldn't be new to it. The reason we chose him was because we needed a man who isn't too old
but not super young, and is able to have some sort of acting ability. We sent an email to him asking if he would be able to perform within our opening scene. The description of the character, we are in need for. Is a grown man in the ages of 30-45. Ethnicity wasn't a factor within this, or a factor that needed extreme thought. We chose someone who was in easy access and who we thought would be a good fit.
